My file was accepted on 1/31/22. The IRS says they are still processing my refund. Does this mean their is definitely an error?

No, not necessarily--it may or may not have any error. It merely means it was likely pulled for manual review by a live IRS person. No one can know if they will find anything wrong with it or not. That's happened to me before, and nothing wrong was found, but it delayed the refund for quite a while.
If they need more info from you, they may notify you with a message at the WMR tool or send a letter/notice, such as if someone needs to ID verify, or if something was missing from the return, etc.

If you wish to try to phone the IRS, they "may" be able to tell you the reason for the delay. They can be very hard to reach, however.
I found that for me it was best to call just before closing time--about 6:55 PM and go through the steps below. I figured a lot of folks would not call that close to closing, and that if I was one of the last to get into their queue, they would finish off all the people who were waiting in the queue at closing time. And luckily, my hunch worked for me. I still had to wait about 25 minutes.
IRS: 800-829-1040 (7AM-7 PM local time) Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do not choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
@Jdtroutt71 I added an addendum with more info above.
