This always happens at the beginning of the efile system ... and the SBTG bank is no longer being used by TT so I am not sure who gave you the info but it seems all the processing banks are having the same issue.
For questions regarding your Refund Advance status, you will need to reach out to Credit Karma. You can contact them by clicking here.
Although TurboTax and Credit Karma are both a part of Intuit, they are separate products. Please see Is Credit Karma a part of TurboTax? for more information.
Same situation! Filed 1/21/22, set up credit karma account, irs approved Monday 1/24/22 called around all day yesterday trying to figure this out. Spoke with TurboTax support told me everything was good on their end that it’s first century bank that I needed to speak with as that is what was showing who was receiving the initial funds from my return. Called to first century after an hour on hold spoke with someone and couldn’t even find my application with my ssn. Told me to call TurboTax back and make sure they sent the application, then turbo tax tried to tell me I didn’t even efile yet when it’s clearly stated on my account then asked to speak with a manager and was told everything is done correctly on their end. First century still can’t find my application.. I confused on to why my funds will be issued to first century bank if routing and account number on my return is for credit karma money account which is under mvb bank? Something is fishy about all this and although I’ve been a TurboTax customer for 10+ years this is my first refund advance and won’t ever do this again using TurboTax.
Yeah same thing with me! I was approved for the refund advance loan irs accepted my efile and nothing! I tried calling first century and can't get a real person on the line. The only reason I got the credit karma account was for this loan. This is ridiculous!
Where is my advance loan? I've talked with Turbo tax and they said to talk to credit karma. No credit karma says talk to Turbo tax. What is going on here?
I got mine on the 25th @ like 745pm and I filed on the 24th it says give it 24-48 hours for return to be accepted and mine was then almost 24 hours later I got the deposit but I also already had a credit karma account and I don’t know if that made the process a little quicker
The problem is its deceptive marketing. I was told I was approved for a bonus when I filled my taxes on the 21st. I checked today to see what the status is only to find out I haven't been approved even though TT said I was. They're doing this to get a ton of KK accounts made for a quota. I'm calling BBB tomorrow to file a complaint for deceptive business practices
Your website made me sign, accessed my credit karma, stated that credit scores would not be used. Made me approve either the refund advance and did not allow a change in where the money should go since I was denied. And the number ending in 8122 is nothing more than lies and a loop. Per the letter I was denied because my income was $0?
I received the approval email and also confirmed it with TurboTax, and I have yet to receive the amount approved for into my Credit Karma spend account that I have. I have been in touch with Credit Karma and have emailed everything they have requested and still, it has not been resolved. Everything went through and was emailed on the 26th of January.
I haven't either and CK doesn't have any information about the loan but they did give me a confirmation number to prove that I already spoke with someone at CK. What is that about????
Also I filed my taxes on January 24, 2022. #Turbotaxfail
Why would they scan people like this when they know that we need our money this is wrong!! You don't do your customers this way. This was all a big lie!! They lost a customer for pulling this underhanded BS.
My refund was accepted a week ago and still haven't been able to get an answer about my refund advance what is going with this year
@angelab1617 all these companies are full of **bleep** TURBOTAX, Credit Karma, The IRS, and first century bank.
Same thing happened to me, but oddly it let me apply the advance to my state return! And the federal was going to my direct deposit, I signed the same disclosure as you guys and never received my advance but I did have to open the stupid credit karma account which I can not close because my state refund will be deposited there, I wanted the advance not the stupid credit karma account, and no one can give answers
Not true! I reached out to credit karma and twice. And they sent me an automated message stating I need to reach out to turbo tax regarding the advance! They are no help!
claim they are only receiving the refund but have nothing to do with the actual cash advance process.
