Why can't I add expenses to my 2023 amended tax return?

I am having this EXACT same issue. Why is it taking so freaking long to fix this if it's been known about for months? So frustrating!

You can transfer your 2023 return to desktop software to amend.  Here's How to Transfer from TurboTax Online to TurboTax Desktop.

Contact TurboTax Support and use 'Billing' in the phone menu.  Explain that you need the desktop version since you can't upgrade in TurboTax Online to amend your 2023 return.

It's now MAY and we still can't just use TurboTax Online to amend 2023 taxes. This is insane!

@cadylynn14 To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year 2023 and Click on Amend (change) 2023 return.  Follow the instructions -
