So when will it show on the Where’s My Refund app if you’ve been audited or give you a tax topic number? Mine state it was approved and will he sent by the 26th, but my friend is in the same predicament as me and she received her refund today. A little nervous and worried since 2018 they took my refund for student Loan, but I fixed it and I got my taxes back last year. My student loans from Fedloans is $0 because of the low income.

We can't give you an exact date or time. TurboTax is not connected to the IRS or state department(s) of revenue refund tracking tools. Please keep checking the IRS website. If your return is approved and you have a date, you are one step closer before receiving your refund.

Refunds can be issued in less than 21 days, but there are cases where it can take longer to process. TurboTax will only show the status of returns (not refunds), such as when the return is actually accepted.
