What's taking my refund so long? I have code 1541 on IRS site.

For my wages it’s still empty. But I have the 570 and 971. A letter is being sent to me

@Holliemorrison78 I’m getting a letter sent on 3/11 telling me no action required that they r verifying my wages and no action is needed on my end

I’m hoping. I’m tired of waiting. Filed 1/28 and was accepted and processing. a week later went into 1541 for 3 weeks and went back accepted and being processed last week. So been 2 weeks like this now waiting

It should be soon. I filed on 1/13. Accepted 1/14. Went into the 1541 code for the longest time. Mine went back to processing last Saturday. Yesterday I checked my online transcript and it finally had the 846 code. So there is hope.

I got my letter today! Hopefully it’s not long before they send my refund. I did check my ssa account and my wages has been updated and they wasn’t yesterday. So hopefully this is a good sign.

I got my letter today and it said there nothing I can do but it might not come on till after April 25th. The lady on the phone said it shouldn't take the whole 45 days but the letter said different

Ash does it say cpo5 on top right? If so that’s the message a lot of people have been getting . It says that you don’t need to do anything

4464c letter. I looked it up and it’s basically the same as the cp05 letter.
