What's taking my refund so long? I have code 1541 on IRS site.

Accepted on Jan 28, then to 1541 on Feb 16 to processing last Saturday to finally approved this morning with the deposit date of 3/13. About **bleep** time!!

Still no update for me either.
Filed January 17th
Accepted on the 22nd.
Bars disappeared 5 days after with 1541 code.
Wmr updated last Saturday to "we have received your return and it is being processed.
Got a CP05 letter a few days later saying my review started March 4th.

I've never had to deal with this kind of ridiculous crap before. They need to have some kind of accountability for this fu**ery

I have been following this thread and have found some good advice about ways to find out about my refund. I signed up to view my tax transcript online and was able to see that I now have an issue date where the app and the website have not updated for me with a date. This may be the same for some of you as well. If you are able to sign up for online transcript it will give me more real time info regarding your refund.

Same thing happened to me around the same time. Tax advocate told me my job reported a different amount of federal withheld. It probably was a lil off bc I used my last paystub, but **bleep** if they have the correct info from my job you would think they will correct it and send my refund.

It’s funny how if they r going by the amount of taxes taken out cause I went and got a corrected w2 from an employer and the employer actually took out more then I reported by like a 100 bucks. But I was advised no to do the corrected one yet cause they said it can delay it longer and u actually have up to 3yrs to put in ur corrcted one

I was told yesterday a letter was being sent out on 3/11 and that it says no action required from me and that I was in a 45 day review. And I know that I filed before their was a corrected w2 sent out so my Medicare and federal will show different by 100 bucks so r they gonna screw me and send another after that 45 days to hold my **bleep** longer ?
