What's taking my refund so long? I have code 1541 on IRS site.

May I have the number and extensions that you used to speak with someone please. Ever since my delay status changed to accepted and being processed I don’t get an option to speak with anyone. I want to call and just double check and have a peace of mind. I would like to hear that I’m clear and should be expecting a refund date soon. I’m the beginning I was also told that I was in a 45 day review and all this just has me stressed out.

Hi @Ash1729 the number I used was [phone number removed]. No extension I choose option 1 for English then option 2 then another option I believe was 3. Don’t hit the options when asked if ur incurring for refund cause it will kick u out or make u call different number. I hit the options for asking about previous taxes and when someone answered I asked to talk to someone about my taxes. And they are more helpful. Hope this helps u. Hard to explain through messages. And yes it had been very stressful going through this cause of them.

They did tell me we should get a date soon possibly this weekend if they get our w2 forms in before Friday at noon. That’s all I’m waiting for now from what she said. And I’m still in the 45day review as well

Yea I was shocked when she asked if she had permission from me to look and I was scared at first thinking this is a scam and they r looking to take my fleeting but to get 500 back I was happy. Now only if my return comes and that 500 I will be blessed

Hey you guys. I been following along and trying to stay up to date but never responding. So I thought I would give y’all a little hope. My WMR still says processing. And my money just posted in my account. So the WMR is no help. I never got a DDD or nothing. Just a notification from my account.

Did you check your transcripts? A lot of people is updating with their transcripts showing a refund is being sent and the wmr haven’t updated

I don’t have loans or credit cards so I am unable to view them online but I ordered them on Monday and I have to wait for them in the mail.
