What happened to my refund?!

I got a direct deposit from SBTPG LLC DATA: ORIG CIVISTA BANK... I was suppose to get $2,246 and I ended up getting $764.61... it's several hundred short of my returns, how can I find what happened to the rest of my refund.. What the hell happened? I'm furious

That sounds like a mixup over the 3rd stimulus check and your TurboTax fees.    If the IRS thinks you already got the $1400 stimulus check last year, you cannot get it twice so they removed the recovery rebate credit that was on line 30 of your tax form.  And the $80ish amount sounds like Deluxe + the refund processing fee for paying your TT fees from your refund.

Check your online IRS account to see if the IRS says you got the $1400 already last year.

It took some digging but looks like I did get the 3rd stimulus.. I'm upset I didn't see it at first

@Toxicbunnyz Thank you for posting back about it.   We are seeing a lot of people who made the same mistake.  It has been a confusing tax year for people.

@xmasbaby0 Its been so difficult.. I hope next year is super easy and not as confusing.. It personally took 30 minutes of digging through my bank statements to find the 3rd stimulus.. I thought I checked properly when I did my taxes... Guess not.. I got upset for absolutely no reason
