What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

I filed in January. Mine kept saying still being processed. I was told it was a review and I was randomly selected. I didnt get my refund until late March.

Same here.I  don't understand how I could receive a stimulus check but not the full amount and also I haven't received my income tax been waiting since January. I got charged the Turbo Tax fee which came out of my bank account and no answers from the IRS. How can I give you a stimulus if they know you filed your taxes and not give you your refund yet you think they would send that both at one shot

Ok guys after months of  Not speaking with someone at the IRS. I was told that I’m under review and that it would be 60 days that I hear anything pertaining to my taxes, starting May 4 after already waiting 9 weeks for the identity verification. This is the most BS I have ever experienced. The letter supposedly have been sent out May 4 that I never received! Smh

It shouldn't take 60 days. After I was told the sixty days from blah blah date it arrived a week later

I was told the same thing and was also told if I don’t get my refund by 6/1/20 it’ll gain 5% daily interest. Was told by an IRS Representative if the irs owes you money and you don’t get it within 45 days from the date of electronic file they legally have to pay you interest but it’s taxed. I filed in January but I had to verify my identity on 2/28 then the IRS began processing on 4/6. My 45 days is tomorrow 5/21. I just want my money Im out of work have 6 kids I had to switch careers and need to pay for the test to pay for state licenses to work from home because my kids daycare is closed and I don’t want to send them back for at least a year with All the uncertainty going on. It’s just a lot. I’m so frustrated

So what about a person such as myself who e-filed thru Turbo Tax on March 5th 2020. I have NOT received my tax refund or my stimulus money. I go on the where's my refund and get my payment once a day and still see your return is being processed. My banking info I included in my 2019 e-filed tax return that I filed thru Turbo Tax. I will NEVER use Turbo Tax again!!!! What is my recourse and how much longer am I to wait?
