@monroe991 That’s just a generic code. Means it’s processing. Just hadn’t been approved or rejected by the IRS

I hope everyone understands that it's these services that taxpayers use that are the returns being delayed. I've been using turbo tax for years, every year takes longer to get my refund. I don't wanna hear the excuse pf the pandemic any longer. People that are using personal tax people to get their refunds are getting theirs within a week. My friend filed on Monday last week with a personal tax person and got it last Friday, and the same goes for others I have talked to. I am to the point now where I am just going to use a friend's tax person next year and leave turbo taxes services cause this is just ridiculous. When you hear others are getting there returns quicker than people who have been waiting more than 3 weeks plus. It's time to leave these services in the dust. It's becoming a joke.
What is making things even worse, turbo tax does nothing to help. They file it, and that's it. So what am I sitting here paying for? U talk to one of their tax experts and nothing. U pay for something u can literally do on your own, and or have someone personally help u with and have the same result. For cheaper. And get your return quicker. And pay them when u get your refund. This is an absolute joke. And it's not just turbo it's all services. Go and use personal tax people next year everyone, seriously. Until these services start taking a more serious approach to look out for their customers.
Nope the first day or so it said we receive your refund then it went to we apologize ur refund is being delayed and this same message for 32 days now and i have 2 kids im thinking march 1st fingers crossed
TT is a DIY program and has no more control over when or how the IRS/state processes your return and issues the refund than any professional tax preparer. TT cannot "help" you with this issue any more than a professional preparer can ... once filed only the fed/state can tell you what is happening with your return.
Each return is processed on it's own timeline and some are pulled for review (sometimes randomly) or require more time to process depending what is on the return. So you cannot just go by what happened to other people's returns.
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
