I filed my business taxes using my taxID #.  I was also asked to provide my SS#, which I did.  Now, the IRS is staying I completed two returns under my SS# when one should be under my taxID# that I provided.  How do I fix this mess???

More info is needed.   What product did you use for each type of return?    Hopefully you didn't use a personal tax product and prepared 2 returns.   Depending on the type of business, you might need a business tax product for the business return.

Since you titled this thread "two accounts", I'm concerned you're trying to file 2 personal tax returns with Online TurboTax.

And what type of business entity??  Was it a self-employed Schedule C business (or single-member LLC electing Schedule C)?   If so, a Schedule C business can be reported in a personal tax return in the same return.

Or was the business an S-corp, C-corp, partnership, multimember-LLC, etc.?     The latter group of business returns cannot be prepared in Online TurboTax and require dedicated Business Edition desktop software (Windows only.)

Did you file 2 form 1040's ?    What form did you file for the business ?
