To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Start the 2023 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.
On the Tax Home webpage -
Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
I specifically started that there is no "Download/print return (PDF)" button on the page. I can attach a screenshot if necessary, but there is no such link.
All of my online test accounts show Download PDF for prior years, including 2018. Have you started a 2023 tax return so all the links for Your tax returns & documents are available?
I have. Here is what i see for 2018 (which is the last year we used TurboTax).
I just clicked through previous years to see if it was consistent or not. I do have the 'Download/print return (PDF)' option for 2013-2016, but it is not present on 2017 or 2018.
There is no status showing for the tax return. When you click on finding the status, what is indicated?
Did you file 2017 & 2018? You might have to download the .tax files and finish it. But those years are too old. You can download the .tax files and try the TaxPrinter service to convert a .tax file to pdf at
https://www.taxprinter.com
They might be expensive and it is probably not safe to email tax returns back and forth. They are not related to Turbo Tax. I see it says federal is $44.99 and Federal + state is $79.99.
Or request a transcript from the IRS

Or get a copy of your return using form 4506
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf
This simply redirects me to the help page for checking my e-File status. At this point I think I'll just check with my accountant and see if he has a copy on file. 2018 was a crossover year for us, moving from TurboTax to Quickbooks Online and an accountant, so maybe that's the source of our problems.
