The IRS says my refund was direct deposited on the 29th. I did not request a direct deposit,i requested the prepaid card.Is my money just gone into someones account now?

If I'm not mistaken the money will be on card when it gets to you. I know prior years the card came first so that when the deposit was to be made it was there and I've known of others who got card with money on it

If you requested your refund be deposited on the Turbo Visa Debit Card that is the same thing as a direct deposit. If your refund does not show as available on your card and the IRS reflects it has been accepted, approved and sent with a direct deposit date please contact the  Turbo Visa Debit Card Customer Care department toll-free at (888) 285-4169. 

The refund is only applied to the card once the IRS or applicable state approve and send the refund.

Our Federal refund was delayed, our state came on time. The issue is IRS.gov says our funds have been sent  for 2019, but, it’s not showing in the turbo tax debit card and we can’t reach anyone at card services. Please advise
