I am a disabled non-filer, and have not been required to file taxes for many years because I do not have taxable income. on 4/10 I used the Turbo Tax non-filers form in order to ensure I get the stimulus payment, especially as I have dependents. I cannot get any status updates whatsoever on the IRS tool, and when I try their non-filer tool, it says they already have my info. I receive both SSI and disability and have received nothing yet. I don't know if this is a TT screw up (I do not have any kind of TT card and never have). I am consistently getting constantly changing information, so some concrete information would be really nice. Is TT holding on to my stimulus? Should I attempt to contact the IRS? Should I just wait?

TurboTax has nothing to do with your stimulus money & they are not holding it. It is up to the IRS when the stimulus money is issued. The non-filers option is an IRS app not a TurboTax one. The IRS is closed & they are not taking phone calls. They are still processing e-filed returns & stimulus checks but they have been behind.
The following scenarios can help you decide if you need to use the IRS's Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here tool to get your Economic Impact Payment. You can find this tool only on IRS.gov.
This new tool is designed for people eligible for the Economic Impact Payment who did not file a tax return for 2018 or 2019 and who don't receive Social Security retirement, disability (SSDI), survivor benefits, supplemental security income (SSI), Railroad Retirement benefits, or Veterans Affairs Compensation and Pension (C&P) benefits. If you received these benefits, don't have a qualifying child under age 17 and your spouse, if any, also received these benefits, you don’t need to use the tool. However, you can use the tool to claim the $500 for each qualifying child under age 17 or claim $2,400 as a married couple even if you receive these benefits. You have until noon on May 5, 2020, to register to receive the additional amounts with your automatic payment. These additional amounts will be paid this year if the IRS receives your information before the deadline. If you do not register this information before the deadline, you can file a tax return next year to claim the additional amount.
The Get My Payment application will return "Payment Status Not Available" for several reasons, including:
We update Get My Payment data once per day, overnight so there is no need to check more often. If you are eligible for a payment and have provided your information either through a recent tax return or the Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here application, please check back for updates.
@synderryn Even the TurboTax app states not to use it if you are on SS benefits.
If you’re not required to file taxes and don’t receive Social Security benefits, use our free Stimulus Registration for non-tax filers to give the IRS your up-to-date mailing address and direct deposit banking info.
@synderryn Yes, anyone on SS that had dependents needed to file a non-fliers form. As stated above since you used the TurboTax tool, then the IRS has your information. Hopefully, when you used the TurboTax tool, you were able to enter your banking information, if not, then you will receive a check which will take longer. Since the IRS has your information, hopefully they will process that information soon. I was hoping the Get My Payment would have given you an idea when you will get your stimulus money. Unfortunately, the IRS will not accept phone calls at this time. Wishing you the best.

Turbo Tax had a non-filers tool before the IRS did - that's where I input my information. Several times since the IRS has implemented there's, I have tried to make sure they have it. The information is already there, and when attempting to submit, I get the following message:
Here are some reasons why your return could not be sent to the IRS.
I have checked all the info before the May 5th deadline to ensure it was correct. When I do the "Check E-File Status" button I get this: "No return with this Social Security Number has been transmitted from this account.
If you have created more than one account, please check your e-file status in the account from which your return was transmitted.", likey because I submitted the information through Turbo Tax.
Some people who claim to be on SSDI or SSI have claimed to have received information from the Get My Payment tool, even if all it says is you are eligible. I don't get that. It's highly confusing, and knowing WHEN to expect it would be REALLY HELPFUL when trying to plan to pay bills, rent, and buy groceries.
Ok ... since you used the TT non filer tool and it was accepted then you cannot refile it again ... that is why the IRS tool is rejecting the second filing. Nothing you or anyone else can do but wait until the IRS processes the return you filed and issues you the stimulus payment. Unfortunately the IRS staff as been cut to the bone due to the virus and are just now getting back into the office ... it will takes weeks for them to catch up with all the returns that have been stacking up so patience will be needed. Check the IRS tool every couple of days to see your status ... also make sure you are entering the mailing address EXActLY as you have typed it on the form 1040 ... do not use the APT section.

If you’re not required to file taxes and don’t receive Social Security benefits, use our free Stimulus Registration for non-tax filers to give the IRS your up-to-date mailing address and direct deposit banking info.
I do not recall having seen that at the time. I filed on 4/10. IRS went live on 4/15. I know SS recipients were supposed to do something if they had no dependants. I have dependents.

ty. Yes, I did put in my banking information. Just incredibly frustrated. Hopefully soon though.
Having a similar issue; however, not on SS. Two people in my household used Turbo Tax Stimulus tool on April 5th and one used it about two weeks later. The two that used it on April 5th, ones check was sent to an address he no longer lives at and another's still doesn't show any updates. Both had direct deposit information filed with it. The one who filed two weeks after they did, got all of his just find with no issues. So after using their tool, it seems when the two filed on April 5th, the IRS didn't even use that information to process the correct Payment. Then they don't have anyone to call. It's pretty ridiculous to say the least. Extremely inconsistent and unreliable.
Hello,
I am elegible to receive the stimulus check (filed 2018 & 2019 thru TurboTax) and have received my 2019 federal tax return on Turbo tax debit card, not stimulus not included. Coworkers have received their stimulus check. After the qualification check confirms Im elegible, I do the "check my payment" I get the "Payment status not available" message. Like you said, the IRS is closed and not taking phone calls and processing stimulus checks. What's the latest I should wait for before seeking further assistance?
There was also a news article about delays in stimulus checks for people who used TurboTax, HR block, and other services. How much truth is there to that?
Thank you

Thank you, but like I said I have checked the IRS websites and still get the "information is unavailable" message. No explanation. I checked my bank accounts from 2018 tax year, my 2019 (federal tax) turbotax debit card, and mailbox and did not receive any stimulus check/amount.
The only thing I have yet to compare is what message my friends and coworkers would get if they do "get my payment".
The IRS has a dedicated phone line for stimulus questions. You can try contacting them through the number below for updated information regarding your stimulus payment if the Get My Payment tool is not working for you.
Telephone Assistance: IRS live phone assistance is extremely limited at this time. For Economic Impact Payment questions, call 800-919-9835.
