It has been 11 weeks for me too since my accountant e-filed. It says that it is being processed. I will try to get a live person. But this is really frustrating.
I don't know if it helps anyone, but for me it was Option #3 instead of #4 in your instructions. Thank you for your help.
Unfortunately I've been calling for over a week multiple times a day and either get the high call volume message or I wait 20+ minutes and then my phone will say "Call failed" and I'll lose the call. Frustrating to say the least.
This issue needs to be fixed for all of us!
I received the same response and it ended the call. Is there any other way to contact them?
Hey...just wondering if you ever received your refund bc this is going on 11 weeks for me too
It has been over 16 weeks now and STILL NOTHING! "Where's my refund" says it is "still being processed"!! I'm retired and recently widowed and I certainly could use what is rightfully MY money!
@bg9594 Unfortunately the IRS is severely backlogged and lots of people are experiencing delays with their refunds. TurboTax has no way to speed them up for you.
From this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-operations-during-covid-19-mission-critical-functions-continue
As of May 15, 2021, we had 300,000 individual tax returns received prior to 2021 in the processing pipeline. Including current year returns, as of May 15, 2021, we had 16.4 million unprocessed individual returns in the pipeline. Unprocessed returns include those requiring correction to the Recovery Rebate Credit amount or validation of 2019 income used to figure the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC). This work does not require us to correspond with taxpayers but does require special handling by an IRS employee so, in these instances, it is taking the IRS more than 21 days to issue any related refund. If, as a result, a correction is made to any RRC, EITC or ACTC claimed on the return, the IRS will send taxpayers an explanation. Taxpayers are encouraged to continue to check Where’s My Refund? for their personalized refund status and can review Tax Season Refund Frequently Asked Questions.

Listen to each menu before making the selection.
First choose your language. Press 1 for English.
Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
Instead, press 2 for "personal income tax".
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions." It should then transfer you to an agent.

...as long as I get my money this year I'm cool, but I am starting to get a little nervous. 😬
I remember last year in 2020 they delayed my return. They didn't issue my return until November of 2020.
That's horrible! It has now been 16 weeks and I am still waiting!
Happy to say mine is finally pending for refund delivery. Sent it over 15 weeks ago as an electronic filing. Hopefully yours will come soon too.
Happy Father's Day!
Glad to hear your refund is on its way! I'm into my 16th week (almost 17th) of waiting now so keeping my fingers crossed that I will hear something soon! Happy Father's Day to you as well!
