Filing joint with my wife who turned 65 in March 2025 but do not see my wife's senior deduction in 13b on the Schedule 1-A preview. Why would this be? How could I get this to populate.

on schedule 1-A it's on line 37 which carries to 13b of the 1040
also you don't get it if your modified adjusted gross income - line 3 of schedule 1-A is $250,000 or more.
Here are 2 other things to check:
1) In the MY INFO section, be sure you entered her birth date correctly.
2) And when you entered her SSN, be sure you did not accidentally place a checkmark for "not valid for employment" (unless her SSN is indeed not valid for employment.) The senior deduction requires an SSN that is "valid for employment." From the instructions:
"Valid SSN. You and/or your spouse
must have a valid SSN to take this deduction.
A valid SSN for purposes of the
enhanced deduction for seniors is one
that is valid for employment and that is
issued by the SSA before the due date of
your 2025 return (including extensions)."
How much do you have on 1040 or 1040SR line 13b?
If you aren’t getting the new Enhanced Senior Deduction on Schedule 1-A which goes to 1040 line 13b these should be the only reasons…
Check your date of birth under My Info
Check if your ssn is not checked for NOT valid for employment under My Info
If you are married you have to file a Joint return not Separate
Is your AGI over 175,000 Single or 250,000 Joint?
Before filing, You can preview the 1040 or print the whole return
