return still not accepted

I submitted my returns almost 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't been accepted by the IRS... Of course I can't get ahold of anyone... What should I do?

Are you sure it hasn't been accepted? Are you checking the IRS Where's My Refund? Make sure you are entering the correct Federal refund amount and not the combined Federal and State refund. Also make sure you are entering your full federal refund amount, not the amount you would get if you had fees taken out.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund.

Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund:
When will I get my federal tax refund?
How do I track my state refund?
Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?

Why do some refunds take longer than others?

What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?

What does it say in your online account with TurboTax?

Did you e-file?  Did you click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

If the IRS accepted it, what does it say here?

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Or does your online account say “Ready to Mail?” Or “Rejected?” Or “Printed?”

It says that it is accepted on Turbo Tax but not through the "Where's My Refund"..... it still says that it is pending.

It says it is accepted through Turbo Tax but not on the IRS website. I can't even find the transcripts for it on the IRS site.

@pug4 Do not look for the word "accepted" on the IRS site.  The IRS does not say "accepted"--

FROM THE IRS WHERE’S MY REFUND SITE:

https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund

How it works

Where's My Refund shows your refund status:

  • Return Received – We received your return and are processing it.
  • Refund Approved – We approved your refund and are preparing to issue it by the date shown.
  • Refund Sent – We sent the refund to your bank or to you in the mail. It may take 5 days for it to show in your bank account or several weeks for your check to arrive in the mail.

Sorry, I meant "approved"

@pug4 Keep waiting.   You say you filed about two weeks ago.   You are well within the normal amount of time for processing your return.
