I keep calling just to see who will say something new or different. Now they all say that my check has been mailed out. Give them 7-10 days.
I keep calling credit karma
This has nothing to do with credit karma. I talk to someone at turbo tax, he said I was right. 168.00 was deducted from me for federal,state,and processing from turbo and 178 for tax prep and fees for processing was deducted AGAIN when it went to SBTP.. so over 300.00 but that's ok. Turbo tax will lose me as a customer because I filed with you and NOBODY is offering to credit the money back. EVEN AFTER I showed a receipt from turbo tax and I showed turbo tax the total amount of my refund BEFORE FEES WERE DEDUCTED. I keep getting the run around. Nobody wants to check into it. So I figured I will give turbo tax and Santa Barbara to come up with a solution, if nothing is done then I will right my reviews
On my end, it has a lot to do with credit karma. That’s who I had the cash advance with and once they found out my taxes were hitting, they closed my account out completely. So now, I have to wait on this paper check (that’s if they really mailed one out).
If you have access to the money && have an iPhone, I think in the app there’s an option to add the card to Apple wallet. Add it to your wallet && transfer the funds out.
It happened to me as well. I filed my taxes on January 17th using turbo tax like I have done for years I used credit karma for the refund advance like I have done for the last few years. I received my refund advance on my spend account I spent a good bit of it, then woke up and my account was closed and the remaining $600 dollars was gone. I called and emailed for hours before being told they closed my account because I didn’t verify personal information within 60 days. (Mind you I have had this account for a few years) they said I would receive my refund in a check from the government because it would not deposit into that account since it was closed and I could open a new spend account in 15 days. And that they mailed the remainder of the refund advance in a check on January 29th as of today February 26th it the $600 advance check still hasn’t came. Well it’s been way more than 15 days I still can’t open a new spend account and now my federal return minus the refund advance is sitting in my credit karma save account and I can’t get it out. The two accounts I have tried to link as an external bank to transfer to they won’t approve of either and I can’t open a new credit karma spend account to transfer it to.
I just find it should be illegal to put my money in a different account then I agreed to when I signed to file my taxes the account number on the spend and save account are completely different and I have my tax documents to prove that and screenshots of the save account number. I feel like that has to be illegal they accepted my money from the IRS and put it in an account that I did not agree to without my permission and now I’m stuck trying to get my money out and Credit Karma keeps saying link an external bank or let them mail me a check. I don’t want them to mail me a check as I still have not received the first check with the remaining refund advance amount that was left that they said they mailed out on January 29th. Anyone who can help with this please reply to comment. I feel they did this to so many of us that there has to be something that can be done. This can not be one person’s mistake this seems more like fraud
Did u try contacting them through support chat or call IRS?
I'm not a tax expert but I agree even tho I received a refund it was 178 short. So I will file with you. I know a lot of people are mad for one reason or another. Including me... And I have recept again take from the little people. We should all come TOGETHER that has been duped even a dollar and do something
I would call the irs and let them know what credit karma did. I am calling them tomorrow because it says, if I didn’t receive my refund by 2/27, to contact them back. Everyone needs to complain that didn’t not receive their money that used credit karma.
Yes I have contacted support many times Credit Karma support has been rude and unhelpful
I haven’t had luck with the IRS because the money was already deposited they advised me to file a complaint with BBB and FDIC which I did. I am sending everything I have to my attorney tomorrow.

The Apple Pay option says they are having problems with the network try again later it’s been saying that for weeks
They are not rejecting our tax refunds but are accepting them. I had to speak with several people and made several requests for them to send me my money. They are finally sending out a check after holding my refund in my closed account for almost 2 weeks
Credit karma and turbo tax are both owned by intuit and that’s why they only let us use Credit Karma debit for advance, they are working together and really did their customers bad. And didn’t offer any assistance even though many of us wouldn’t have used credit karma if given option to use our bank
