But then who is separating our money from turbo taxs fees? Certainly not the I r s
Caught this TT Agent slipping. She told me money Is coming directly from the IRS and that Turbo tax does not have our funds. Neither does a third party bank Because five days early was rejected for whatever reason but then proceeded to tell me that Turbo Tax fees have been paid and satisfied the fee for 5 days early not taken yet total fee for service still the same.... That is why my receipt is no longer showing./available......haha
If you don't receive it 5 days early they refund it.
TT has already taken their money out of my acct days ago but I still don't have my refund or says it should be in my acct by the 26th but on my transcript there's a date of the 24th,
I paid for the early refund from TT where would I see if I was denied or not
Plus I'm confused of to how they got their payment from my refund but I don't even have it yet I'm so confused
I noticed basically what ever your transcript says is the date they are going by I had the 5 days early as week but I got sent a email basically saying they could not honor it and I won’t be charged I filed 1/27 accepted 1/28 approved 2/19 DDD date 2/24 they literally waited until today to release my funds the irs sent it to turbo turbo took there funds and released my funds to me with a couple hours just got to be patient it’s very stressful the unknown
My sbtpg just went from "amount paid to you" to zero, after showing the full amount for 2 days. It still shows the fees have been paid. Amount received has a dd of 2/25. I have no clue what's going on.
In the community we do not have access to information about your refund.
If you want specific information you will have to call TurboTax Customer service. Here is a link: Turbo Tax Customer Service
Where's my Refund is the most accurate information as it is directly from the IRS. Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund. The TurboTax site can only update if the information is provided for the software to update. This doesn't always happen so the information shown on TurboTax could be behind.
The IRS is who is issuing your refund, not TurboTax, so the IRS has the most up to date information.
Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund:
When will I get my federal tax refund?
How do I track my state refund?
Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?
Why do some refunds take longer than others?
What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?
The bank that processes the fees for turbo tax is Santa Barbara Bank and Trust SBBT If you go to the website and put in your info it will show you what you owe and if and when they received your refund . They get your refund first deduct the fees then send you your balance within the hour.
This isn’t true. SB took my fees out on the 21st and I still don’t have my money.
What is the website to check the bank santa barbara bank
I’m dealing with the same thing! I am so mad! Like everyone else that says the 26th has their money and I’m sitting here with nothing! And customer service “oh it should be coming soon” BULL**bleep**
If your refund was accepted it should show on turbo tax your fees and if they charged you for 5 days early if they took it off you won't get it early if they charged you then you'll get it early.
If I’m not mistaken (bc I selected it to & been doing a lot of googling myself expecting differently myself) but from what I’ve gathered is when checking your refund status with the “where’s my refund” tool once the 2nd step process is showing approval from irs they’ll give you a refund expected date & the “5 day early” will apply to that date. So after waiting forever for them to approve on that website lol your 5 days apply to that.
trust me I’ve been wracking my brain too bc my approval isn’t even there yet
