There isn't anything that you can do that will get any advance economic impact payment to you this year. You will have to file a tax return in 2021 for the 2020 tax year to receive the payment at that time.
If he submitted it then he did get the $500 credit for other dependents (unless the IRS later denied and removed it, requesting repayment) and you are on record as being his dependent for the year that he filed. He should amend his return to remove you and repay the $500 (if he has not done so already) by filing Form 1040X.
However, this form will likely take many months to be processed and will not reset your social security number in the database that was used to determine economic impact payments (stimulus checks.)
Your son needs to amend his return if he should not have claimed you. Your SON is the one who should have removed you from his tax return. He could have deleted you from the tax form. He likely got the $500 credit for other dependents on his own return -- he would not have received extra s

You can claim a child, relative, friend, fiance (etc.) as a dependent on your 2019 taxes as long as they meet the following requirements:
Qualifying child
• They are related to you.
• They cannot be claimed as a dependent by someone else.
• They are a U.S. citizen, resident alien, national, or a Canadian or Mexican resident.
• They are not filing a joint return with their spouse.
• They are under the age of 19 (or 24 for full-time students).
• They live with you for more than half the year (exceptions apply).
Qualifying relative
• They don't have to be related to you (despite the name).
• They cannot be claimed as a dependent by someone else.
• They are a U.S. citizen, resident alien, national, or a Canadian or Mexican resident.
• They are not filing a joint return with their spouse.
• They lived with you the entire year.
• They made less than $4200 (not counting Social Security)
• You provided more than half of their financial support. More info
