My 2018 tax return was just accepted 1/14/19. IRS hasn't even opened yet. Is this part of the test batch? Will funds be deposited earlier than normal? I claimed 3 kids.

I claimed 3 children for the eic. Will my tax return being in the early test batch override the February date for processing?

The IRS will not start processing tax returns with a tax refund until after 01/28/2019.  If your tax refund includes either EITC or ACTC the IRS will hold the refund until mid-February.  Releasing the refund in late February.

I also claim 3 kids and got a text today saying my taxes where accepted. I have no clue why this happened or what the test group means ..... hopefully someone who knows can give some answers. Thanks
