ItsDeductible on iOS wont let me choose 2022 as the year of my donations even though it’s January 2022 and I have the latest version. How can I work around this?

I am having this same issue from my laptop. It is not letting me put in any info for 2022.

You should be able to enter cash donations for 2022 now.   However, if you have donated items this year, you may want to wait to enter those once the item list for 2022 is populated with all of the items in the database (currently available only for the current tax-filing year, 2021).    Currently, you have to manually add items for 2022, but TurboTax will add all of the common items to the It's Deductible menus later in the year.      Donations made in 2022 will be deducted on your 2022 tax return which you will file next year, in 2023.

so is there a estimated timeframe for this? Or is it "some time this year"? which may be in December...

You have to go to www.itsdeductibleonline.com and enter your items there. They do have a list of most common donated items online and you can use the website. I ran into the same problem and had to resort to this workaround. And nobody at Inuit support (spent 45 min on the phone) even KNOWS they had an iOS app.

It looks like you are trying to do this from your mobile phone.  Please try to complete It's Deductible via your desktop.  Please let us know here in this thread if you are still having this experience.

1. The name of the thread is "ItsDeductible on iOS wont let me choose 2022 as the year of my donations", so YES, I am trying to do it on my mobile device. I think this IS the problem we are trying to resolve.
2. If you read my previous posting, my advice to OP was exactly to go to the website as a workaround, as it seems to be working. So your advice, though much appreciated, does not resolve the original issue.
