@BrandiLO i understand it is out of TT’s hands and def not your fault! But TT is quick to take out fees immediately when we e-file. I paid extra for Max benefits & I can’t even get an answer from anyone. I also noticed TT is deleting customer service direct numbers for IRS & TT, not sure why that’s happening. This is a public community & it should be shared.
@BrandiLO Do you know if current status is “accepted” means IRS will use 2020’s bank accounts and AGI’s? Or do they have to be “approved” for them to have direct deposit info for stimulus payments?
The IRS will update its database when the return is approved. Accepted just means they have it, but the information on that return has not yet been uploaded to their database. Once it is approved, the IRS has your updated banking information on file at that point. @Jdmcass77
My file was accepted by IRS on 2/13/2021 and I am in the same boat. Did they say when these files would be accepted and paid?
The IRS is telling everyone to allow up to 10 weeks to process but ppl have still been getting their taxes before then, I’m still processing since 2/12
The IRS releases most refunds within 21 calendar days after the e-filed return has been accepted (received), not 21 days from the e-filing date. The only way to know when your refund will be released is to use the IRS Where's My Refund tool.
Until the IRS starts processing your return, you may not find record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated accordingly. Please see here for more information on checking the status of an e-filed return.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status as it moves through the process here.
See the video in this link for a really good explanation of the process:

Mines was also accepted on the 12th and I haven't received anything yet. I had bars they are now gone says refund is still being processed and date will be provided once available its been almost 4 weeks now . I have filed through turbo tax 3 years and this is also my last year. I also selected the option to get my deposit on a credit karma card spend account. My turbo tax intuit card I guess I can no longer use . Got my first stimulus on the turbo card. The second one came as a check.. Now I'm also waiting on this third stimulus not knowing if I'm gonna receive a paper check again or if its coming to this account as well. This is just too much and I want my money right now atp. Can't forget turbo tax charged me $150 to file this year as well smh.. hopefully we all get blessed soon.
I used a new bank this year too n my stimulus came to new bank so long as you in the system they should go off of that for the bank info. Mine is also still processing but ppl are still getting refunds with that msg. More info on the Where’s my refund group on fb there are many ppl wit our same issue.
They used my 2020 bank info for stimulus today.I am still processing since 2/12
No problem
Just received my tax refund today. I filed 1/26 it was accepted on 2/11 and I had 3 dependents. Just posted to my account. My where’s my refund says still processing. A date will be posted after processing. with tax code 152. I’m out y’all. I wish y’all the best.
That's not true, My return is processing, it's in error resolution and I talked to the IRS today and they confirmed my current address and bank account information has been updated from my 2020.
Exactly tax experts my azz
I was told the same thing by an IRS representative. I was also told I should receive my refund within 45 days. But if I didn’t come by April 25th I’ll be mailed out an additional interest check. I will not be using TT in the future.
