I have called them back to back every time I call they give me a different resolution now they are putting it on this new group by the name of Santa Barbara tax Products. Who they claim is the ones who processed the check that has the name into it on it and a whole different bank which makes no sense. I do not recall seeing any of this information when I was preparing my taxes on the app.

I forgot to mention I have been to Walmart which is one of the places listed on the list and I have been to PLS as well the people at Walmart we're going to cash it for $8 however with me put it through the machine the check got kicked back and PLS stated that they will not be cashing any checks coming from that company.

A solution they gave me is to cancel the check & have the IRS send one but its gonna take 6-10 weeks to come. Not sure if you wanna wait that long but that honestly seems like the only solution

I can confirm that is one solution that will work. If the middleman bank cancels the check and returns the funds to the IRS, the IRS will mail a check. The suggested time frame seems a little long, hopefully it would be sooner.
The folks on this board (even the moderators) have no say and no inside information on what is going on, so we can't tell you if there is a faster solution being worked on.
I would also think that Intuit owes you some compensation. This seems to be a big enough problem that something will eventually happen. But again, we don't know.
A woman just called me from TurboTax telling me that there’s no problem with the bank an that they have no problems getting a hold of this bank I then asked her do she have a number that I could call she said no because it will just reroute you to customer service for turbo I the explained too her that’s the problem she replied I have two options I can keep trying to cash it or wait for a new check from irs an that it could take up to ten weeks . I will not be filling thru them next year an I pray so many others don’t due to the fact it’s to many of us having the same problem an they are not going outta there way to fix this error second I didn’t ask for a check I filled for direct deposit they sent me a check besides letting irs take care of it an not I might have to wait until may to receive my federal refund that is insane an I just can’t stomach this

The problem with the check is TurboTax sent out everyone’s check with the same check number in the corner of the check that’s why it can’t be cashed an besides turbo saying wait ten weeks they should get every one’s deposit information an update our account with the amounts that’s owed to us besides having to wait 10weeks because of there error that’s just not right . Please do the right thing here
Can we start a class action lawsuit? It's like they are just bouncing the issue around and they have no idea how to fix this situation. I still have not received a resolution.

It’s a scam!!! I talked to the IRS. Intuit DOES NOT SEND TAX REFUNDS! I Checked with cashing places and banks and they all said it was fake! I put the wrong account number on my tax forms with turbo tax and IRS sent the fund but then was rejected. So when I got that check in mail I thought wow that was fast. Turns out the IrS says it takes 5 weeks to get a paper check! Hope this helps.
