Amen! As many people that are having issues, I think someone needs to take it to the airwaves. Report the issue to the local news station so they can investigate.
Right that would be the best thing to do because so many ppl would come out with the same issues
I’ve received a paper check from them aswell, tried to deposit it to TWO banks, one mobile and one in person& they denied it each time. The first bank which was mobile said the check was fraudulent, and terminated my account. I went in person to deposit check to another bank, and Im on the app and it shows return check charge back. This has been a nightmare!!!! Everytime I call turbotax they said 3 business days but i been dealing with the same issue since last Wednesday!
Guys- there is a Facebook group dedicated to this issue! We are getting the word out! I have sent the story to my local news station.

Once I started digging- I found this is a much wider spread issue than originally thought. I’ve now reported them to the FTC. If you go to Facebook and type in Turbo Tax 2024 check fraud- all kinds of mess pops up. TurboTax Refund 2024 is one group.
I also am dealing with this same situation. I deposited the check into my bank account and my whole account is frozen. The check flagged there system for fraud. They are saying they can not verify the check it's been five days now.

I just got a call back from TurboTax from the team that was supposed to be working on the issue. They said that their solution was for me to create another bank account with a different traditional bank or have it sent back to the IRS and it’ll take about 10 weeks for me to get the refund back. what’s absolutely baffling to me is the fact the representative tried to blame it on the banks, and the people that we took the checks to for the reason they weren’t accepting the checks.
did you apply for the 5-day early refund? There have been many problems with this. Maybe even worse is that some paid the $25 but only got it 1 day early

Well I hope everything works out soon because this is my hard earned money am I don’t want nothing extra just what’s owed to me an I have never been thru this before in my life with TurboTax since I’ve been filing with them an there the only company I’ve ever used an I find it crazy that when I go into a check cashing place like pls an when I pull my check out they start to act like I’m scaming I’ve even had someone tell me to be careful with them checks because police can be called on me an my response is call em it’s my money an I have the proof to prove it
TurboTax says there is an "escalation process" for this Cross River Bank issue if you call in to Customer Support. Try doing that --- even if you have already called -- they will want some information from you in order to sort this out for you. Good luck.
