They are no help at all and neither is turbotax! Lost my business. I know I’m only one person but have read several of the same complaints. There should be a way to update direct deposit info through either turbo tax or the 3rd party. We have to jump through hoops to prove our identity to be told nothing can be done.
Yes this is true I know because I did it and was sent on march 9 for direct deposit refund
HOWEVER there’s an catch you need the PayPal cash card Mastercard they give you an checking account number and routing number give that to your tax agent or put on the form even if not I rolled in direct deposit from employer it will still work worst case all it will do is bounce back and they re issue in an check
I’m trying to figure out why they don’t have mine posted even though irs saying they sent it for direct deposit my guess it will take few days business days not including weekends idk exactly what’s going on with mine personally but I know I gave the right information I know I did
It was an option for me you need PayPal cash card Mastercard in order to do it your set up with routing and checking account

This is not true long as it’s still says processing anyone can change its method it’s just harder too also if one chooses to have deposit money in three different account they are allowed to

I set up my refund to go on my paypal mastercard through direct deposit and it failed, can I submit the form for my paypal account again? The card accounts are switching from Wells Fargo to Bankcard Bank and the direct deposit info to my mastercard was changed
If your refund method failed, it will be routed back to the IRS which will then issue a paper check to the address on file. You are unable to change it after the return has been filed and processed. For more details on this, please see the Help Article here.
