I need to amend 2020 Schedule D. Turbotax wants to take a capital loss carryforward that i have already used in a previous year. How do I get to schedule D to do this?

TurboTax will ask you to confirm or correct your carry-forward losses from last year when you go through the 1099-B section.

Enter capital loss carryover in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to capital loss carryover.  The program will take you to where you can edit your carryover.
