It sounds like your refund may be deposited on the Turbo Visa Card. If you have any questions or need assistance with your Turbo Prepaid Visa Card, visit TurboPrepaidCard.com.
1. Sign up for the card online. The Turbo Prepaid Visa Card will be issued under the name of the primary filer on the tax return.
2. Look for your personalized card to be delivered 5-10 business days after ordering it.
Note: A card will be sent to you even if you decide not to receive your refund on it. You won’t be obligated to activate or use the card if you don’t want to, but you’ll want to keep it safe or properly destroy it for your own protection.
3. As soon as you get your card, activate it online or over the phone by following the instructions on the card sticker.
4. Once the IRS accepts your tax return, your refund will be deposited directly into your account.
To avoid delays, be sure the name on the tax return is exactly the same as the name on your Turbo Prepaid Visa Card.
I recieved a email saying that 1000.00 deposit was being put on a card that I don't have. And I was expecting to have it direct deposited like I had prior to this year..
Did the email state that your tax refund will be deposited on a Greendot or Turbo Visa Debit? Have you ever had a Turbo Visa Debit, but no longer have the card?
Please click Where can I find my direct deposit account information after I've e-filed? to learn how to check your direct deposit information.
