It seems like your question was cut off mid-sentence. If you were going to say that you discovered that you really did receive the 3rd EIP payment and said on your tax return that you did not , you cannot fix that now. But the IRS cross checks for the recovery rebate credit and they know if you received it. if you have it on line 30 and already received it, they will take it away. You cannot get it twice. This will delay your refund.
So will they automatically change it for me & deduct that amount? Or will I have to amend & make changes myself?
