How to amend 2020 taxes on desktop version?

I filed my 2020 taxes on my Home and Business, desktop edition. I have done a lot of googling and cannot find a solid answer on this. Please tell me I can e-file an amendment through the TurboTax desktop.... ! I don't have easy access to a printer.

You can amend the 2020 tax return you filed using the TurboTax 2020 desktop edition.

A 2020 amended tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a 2020 tax return originally completed and filed using TurboTax - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-2020-return/L3XdA1Pw8_U...

ANNND...step 6 in the CD/Download directions, should actually be step #1 (in my opinion).

MAKE a second Copy of the original First.  We get thousands of folks every year begging to see the original...after they've already overwritten/amended their Original copy.

@DoninGA    Thanks very much. I find it quite ridiculous that I can't e-file it though... I don't even have a working printer. I could swear in the research I was doing that I saw an article saying there are now options to efile a 1040x but of course I can't find it now.
