How long after the bank rejects my refund will it take the IRS to issue me a paper check

My stimulus was supposed to be deposited april30 . I called NetSpend they said they sent the electronic payment back to the  longIRS because a lack of information. How long will it take for me to get a paper check in the mail. Thanks

During NORMAL times the conversion to a paper check usually takes 3 weeks or more.

My Dd didn't work because they needed more information an they sent the check back the same day to the IRS. Today is day 7 I haven't received any updates yet. I'm hoping they issue me a check soon. It was originally supposed to be deposited april30 but since the error I have no idea.

Did you receive a paper check yet. I had my Dd bank send my ep back to the IRS the same day an am waiting no updates . I hope I get paper check soon

@Scarfacexnx This happened to me March 27 they sent it back same day Irs got it March 30th still waiting DONT listen to half u hear it’s all bs mine was rejected because it exceeded my deposit limit

That may be true ... but the conversion to a paper check requires a human to initiate the change and if you have not heard the IRS has been woefully understaffed lately  and what staff is working was put on the stimulus situation ... so what normally only takes a couple of weeks may take a couple of months.

My bank rejected my refund on Feb 26, 2019 and I still haven't gotten my refund yet and it's May 14, 2020.

It's been passed 35 days the bank say they ain't gt it and I have not received it by mail and tht was the 15th of April

This makes it seven weeks I have not heard nothing about my taxes or my stimulus check the get my payment to is still saying the same thing not able to tell you anything and I sent it through the mail in April let me know something I would like to actually talk to someone this is not working

The IRS has not been opening the mail for more than 8 weeks and it will take months to get caught up.
