How long after the bank rejects my refund will it take the IRS to issue me a paper check

I oppened an account with chase and entered my direct deposit info...then do due my own error my account was flagged and the account closed for possible fraud...so my return bounced and was sent back I know that means they will send a check now but my question is since my stimulouse is scheduled for tomorrow to the same closed account will it also be sent back and sent in check for to my p.o. box on file with the IRS???

Ok cool I really hope so although I'm a bit devastated that I have to wait to more weeks! Does anyone know if theres anyplace helping out by offering stimulouse advances for a reasonable amount...cause 2weeks it's just a bit to long to make things work out as far as my Bill's go 😕

What address would the check be mailed to because mine was rejected an sent back 3/27 an I haven’t received a letter or anything how long would I be waiting

Because it’s saying “ irs will mail check to the last address on file” my last address was my old apartment I moved would they mail it there or to the address I just filed from ? Thanks

When it was rejected did u get a error code on wmr? Like a 1211 error delay in processing ?

After it being rejected an returned to the irs by bank do you receive a 1121 error code ?

Anywhere from 24hours to 5 days for the irs to receive your money back from the bank and 7 to 10 days for the check to get to you from the irs so in total minimum 8days maximum 15 days!

Expect it to take 3 weeks or more and be thrilled if it comes in sooner especially now with the reduced staff at the IRS.

But what about the 1121 code ? My deposit has be rejected an returned to the irs same day 3/27/2020 still nothing

It's been over 8 weeks and still I need haven't received anything

Last year when I had the 1121 code it took 16 weeks to get my refund & it was sent back to the irs the same day as well. Hopefully yours don't take that long

The wmr updated with my mail out date.. & no I didn't have to send anything in. I also got interest on my refund from them holding it after my 10week mark
