It depends on your circumstances. There is no stimulus payments allowed for a person claimed or that could have been claimed as a dependent on someone else's return. This would include children 17 or older or full-time students under 24 years old.

If your 2018 and/or 2019 federal tax returns have been filed, you do not need to do anything else.

I am 18 years  old and my brother is 17 years old both of us are full time students in high school we live with our mother who lost her job last year she didn’t file taxes because she didn’t have a job. Will my brother and I received a stimulus check we both were told to file because our mother can’t claim us on taxes

You and/or your brother should file if you have income and need to file. 

If you are not dependents, and you don't need to file, you can register as "Non-filers" on the IRS site. 

Your mother should register also. 

Your mother should register (unless she filed in 2018 and received a refund direct deposit, then her stimulus will be paid through that bank account for her) 

It does not sound like you nor your brother could be supplying more than half of your own support, if which case you would not be eligible for a stimulus check, but I do not know your entire situation. 

Even if your mother filed and claimed you, she would not receive any additional amounts because of your ages. (If your brother was 17 before 12-31-2019)

I should qualify for a stimulus check for the third time.
