I haven't yet an the IRS update just says processing and talks about the path act
Yes my date was the 25th and I received it on the 25th. Did you have to pay turbo tax if so that could be the reason it taking so long.
When did you filed on 1/29 and still no update from irs
I think on the 2nd of feb and go on your laptop or tablet and look on your account transcript on irs.gov it should give you a date cause that where’s my refund not always accurate on the transcript it should have a date that’s more accurate. Also check turbo tax website that they go through when you owe them it’s taxpayer.sbtbg.com
I did pay them. I paid for the 5 day early refund also
The IRS issues most refunds within 21 days, assuming that there is no delay and nothing is holding your return. Some returns are subject to an automatic hold due to the Path Act when certain credits are claimed.
The (PATH Act) prevents the IRS from issuing early refunds (before mid-February) on any tax return that claims the Earned Income Tax Credit (EIC) and/or Additional Child Tax Credit. You can expect your refund by "March 3rd" assuming that there is no hold or other issues with your return. For more information click on the link below
When will I get my refund if I claimed the Earned Income Tax Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit?

How do I track my state's refund?
Also Keep in mind that once your return is accepted for processing by the IRS and/or State we have no control over your return. You should track your refund directly from the IRS and/or Department of Revenue’s Website. These websites have the most accurate and up to date information and they get updated once a day.
I filed 2/2/25
Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities. There is no rule as to which one will come in first or how long it will be between their arrival in your account.
TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. “21 days” is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
To track your state refund:
If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing
.
If you are getting earned income credit on line 27 or additional child tax credit on line 28 You are subject to the delay required by the PATH act. Do not expect your refund before early March
Note: “Accepted” is not the same as “approved”. TurboTax tells you the e-file was accepted if the IRS deems that there is enough information on the return for them to take it in for processing. Only the IRS can approve of the refund, which is a later stage of processing. If the IRS approves your refund they will provide a date for the refund to be issued.
Why would it take longer if I had to pay TurboTax to get my refund?
If you claimed the EIC or Additional Child Tax Credit, you can expect to get your refund by March 3 as long as you e-filed, chose to get your refund via direct deposit, and have no issues with your return.
The IRS will update projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC filers by February 22. As the IRS processes refunds for customers who claimed EIC or CTC, you will see an updated projected refund date on the IRS Where’s My Refund site.
Still have not to this day of March 9 2025. Received all other tax income weeks ago
@Chefmatt858 Not sure what the "all other tax income" was that you received. If you were getting EIC it was included in your federal refund--it is not sent as a separate refund. You will see EIC on line 27 of your Form 1040 if it was on your return.

Have you check the "Where's my IRS Refund" site? This is the best place to receive updates on you refund.
