Thank you for the article. I was aware that the IRS was setting up time slots to enter your info into the tool to get your payment on a certain day. But my info has been in the system since the 15th, nearly three Tuesdays ago and I still have no date. I really am hopeful that we will all see dates on Saturday. Fingers crossed!

I updated my banking information on April 15th and still have not received my payment. Also my page still says I am waiting on an update with my date but it has been 13 days and no new info...very sad...we need this bad!!!

@azzybone If they were mailing it, it would say that in the payment status along with the day you would get your check.

I updated my direct deposit information on April 15th, the first day the portal was open. It gave me that same status. It updated on April 27th saying my payment would be deposited on the 30th.  I received a text from turbtax stating they received my deposit and it will be posted on the 30th. I've never known TurboTax to hold deposits because it's a prepaid card. So I'm assuming it's trying to collect interest off the Mone y for the next 4 days.

It isn't TurboTax who's holding it, it's Green Dot, who administrates the Turbo card. I've received my tax refund on a Turbo Card for several years, and all but once it didn't arrive until the day the deposit was scheduled. ONCE I received it a day early, so it's possible a payment scheduled for the 30th might arrive the 29th...but  don't count on it. But either way,  it's Green Dot that's causing the delay.
