E-file rejected

Hello, if my e-file was rejected on TT can I take my filing somewhere else, or will it say, 'social security number already in use?

E-file rejected

Since the federal tax return has been rejected by the IRS then it is as if the return has never been filed. You can use another software service for the federal return without any issues.
