@Markj40381 Once your refund status on the IRS shows "Refund Sent" it can take 1 to 5 business days for the financial institution to deposit fund into your account.

Corious to know why I still show no bars on wmr says processing not showing any codes tax topics or anything about a letter I filled 1/28 excepted same day

It's possible that the IRS Where's My Refund? site is overwhelmed.  You can try checking your refund status using the IRS Refund Hotline:  (800) 829-1954.

 

If it's been more than 21 days since your refund was accepted, we suggest calling the IRS to inquire about your refund.  Go here for tips on reaching a live IRS agent when you call.

 

Keep in mind, if you claimed the EIC (Earned Income Credit) or ACTC (Additional Child Tax Credit), the IRS expects the first of these refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by the first week of March.
