Direct Depoit was rejected by my bank now SBTPG is sending it back to the IRS

July 30th and still haven't received my refund. Refund sent to IRS February 15th by SBTPG. IRS cannot find the refund anywhere. Sofi screwed me. **bleep** TurboTax.

I have sofi also and I haven’t recieved my money either bc is was coded and when I asked for them to resend it with the different code they told me it was sent back to the irs on February 23,2024 and I still haven’t received my refund now the irs is doing a trace and also did a referral on my behalf. They told me I should receive either my refund or a letter in the mail by August 22

The representative informed me that a trace has been initiated on your behalf, and it is expected to take up to 120 days. Although I have not yet received the anticipated letter, I am scheduled to receive either a refund or correspondence by August 22nd, according to the information provided by the representative.

The solution for the future for everyone is to NOT have the Turbo Tax fees deducted from your refund But to pay the fees upfront first with a credit or debit card.  Then the refund will come directly from the IRS to you and you will also save the Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California).

I submitted my tax return in January, and it took me 10 months to receive my refund. Contact the irs and tell them your refund was sent to the tivo department and tell them the code they give you. You might get some who act like they don’t know what the rivo department is but don’t worry keep trying

The exact same thing happened to me for my 2023 Tax return and still calling IRS as SBTPG on their website said it was sent to the IRS after deducting the fees for Turbotax. God knows how long this will continue.

I’m dealing with the same thing except my bank account information was changed by turbo tax to the sbtpg account and didn’t put mine back in correct my bank hasn’t had any thing be rejected talked to sbtpg they told me it was rejected because my account was closed which is a lie website says it was to be deposited on the 13 of Feb 2025 the agent I spoke with at sbtpg told me a cashier check was printed on the 18 of Feb and would be sent out on the 19 of Feb gave me a trace number that I have no idea where to use it and why to use it never again they took almost 200 plus turbo tax been got their fee I’m just done with this hope it comes soon

No same outcome and they sent me to IRS advocate to figure this out. I am done with TurboTax.

What does this TIVO department stands for? I was referred to IRS advocate and apparently they will send a mail. Not sure if TIVO is the free IRS advocate service you are referring to?

Got mines last year in August and I filed with turbo tax this year and received my taxes a week after filing
