Can you receive for federal refund before the date the IRS has given you?

i reasearched on line and know some people who have gotten before the IRS date.  is this true?

Yep, it's true. Sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for mine. My DD is February 23.  I can get today, tomorrow or on the day of. I always get my refund before my DD. Good luck 🤞

The date the IRS gives you is as close to accurate as they can be at the time. There are factors that may alter that a bit depending on what the financial institution does to process those funds.
