Can you please tell me why my bank is still not showing my returns when my tracking says it has been accepted and completed for awhile now?

If you filed a return in either 2018 and/or 2019 and had income less than $75,000 ($150,000) for joint filers you will get the maximum stimulus payment ($1200 each).  Here is a link with more information.

How do I check the bank details that the hmrc are sending my refund to?

I had a missing digit missing on my account.  My bank said they would reject a direct deposit with less digits but the status hasn’t changed on where is is refund.  Will that status always change of they receive the finds back?

@Ecoscientist If the info you provided is for a closed or invalid account, the government will mail you a refund check. The IRS has a backlog of returns due to a staffing shortage caused by Covid so it might take them longer than usual to update your refund status in Where's My Refund.
