Can't print because forms aren't final - yet it allowed me to efile

Hello - turbotax allowed me to efile both my federal and NJ state return this evening, but when I try to print the state return, it will not allow me to because "the forms aren't final".  Why did it let me efile if the state forms are not final?

Thanks.

The forms in tax software have to be approved by the state. The approval from the state for printing is separate from the approval for e-filing. Sometimes the state approves a form for e-filing before they approve it for printing.

You can see the availability dates for print and e-file in the state forms availability tables.
