Turbotax never sends anything to the IRS ... it is a DIY program and only YOU can send your return ... in the FILE tab YOU had to complete all the steps and click on the big orange Transmit Now button. If you have not done so log in and do so now.
What didn't get sent? Did the IRS get some of it? Or they didn't get your return at all?
Did you efile? When you log into your account you should see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. what does it say? If it says Ready to Mail that means you are suppose to print and mail your return to the IRS.
yes I filled feb 5th and should have received feb 28th when I didn't I contacted turbotax and they played dumbed saying its between me and irs so I contacted irs and they said turbo tax didn't send papers on health insurance and they would send so I could fill out and return. I did and because turbotax did this to thousands of people its been another 5 months and still no refund. To top it off the FREE FREE FREE was 120.00 and turbo tax keeps sending me emails letting me know I owe them. I had nothing special when I did my taxes yet I am being charged for them to mess up my taxes.. Never again!
i understand how to file and how to push buttons this isn't my first rodeo.. when turbotax transmits the file they didn't include what was need with health insurance. after talking to the irs this happened to thousands or more of turbo tax customers which is delaying federal refunds
I e-filed
So the IRS sent you a letter asking for the 1095-A & the 8962 ? If so that was your error not the programs. Thousands have made that error and it will delay your return for weeks. There has been no documented errors by the program failing to send in a complete return as entered.
Guess you didn't enter your 1095A.
If the IRS is requesting form 8962 see
