(2019 tax returns) I filed my first tax return for my first employer and then had to amend because I forgot to file for my second employer. It told me I owed some for state and then stated I would get money back from federal. I didn’t mail anything, I did this all on the app and e-filed. On my home page on the app, it only shows the amount I got back for federal for the first one I filed and under state it shows the amended amount that I owed and already paid. Why doesn’t it show the amount I will get back on federal after amending? Also, I read that I have to complete form 1040X and mail it in. Is that just for federal? If not, why did my state go through and not federal?

1040X is a Federal Form and it does have to be mailed in. It is not yet available.
You will be able to amend as soon as Form 1040X becomes available. At this time the expected date of availability for the form 1040X is
02/20/2020 , however that date is subject to change. You can track it's availability by going to the following link.

How do I amend my 2019 TurboTax Online return?
So I filed my federal so far, not state yet. After realizing after I submitted it that I had forgot to add my 2 gambling winnings. I now have to ammend my federal. It says the form will be available end of Feb. Do I need to mail this in, or can it be done online? Also I read somewhere you have 2 years to ammend/fix. By amending my federal I'll still have to pay in either way. Not sure what I should do
You will not be able to amend your tax return until it has been accepted by the IRS and it will have to be mailed in to the IRS. Please see the below FAQ for more information on amending a 2019 tax return:
