So I'll be receiving a W-2C from my employer that slightly reduces my Medicare wages for 2021.
This, of course, does not increase my tax liability.
Am I obligated to file an amended return in this scenario? Would rather not go through the hassle of doing so if I don't have to.

If the only changes on the W-2C are for an increase in your Medicare wages there is no need to file an amended tax return.
Thanks (it's actually the reverse, the W-2C will show a slight decrease in Medicare wages from what was reported in the original W-2, but I assume the answer is the same).
Correct. Answer is the same.
