I'm baffled. I received a W2C for my 2022 taxes from ADP which says my previously reported wages were corrected and increased by $38K, and my Federal Income Tax Withheld went up by $13K. The issue is the 'corrected information' actually matches what I reported and filed on the original W2 for 2022. The 'previously reported' on the W2C doesn't match what I received on the original W2. I'm not sure what to do with the W2C because there's nothing to correct, but I expect I'll be hearing from the IRS regardless. Seems to be some kind of clerical error by ADP.

yep seems like an ADP mistake. Maybe you can contact them to inform them that the W-2C exactly matches the original W-2 you received so why the corrected one. Not that it matters. since what you actually reported matches the W-2C do nothing with regard to filing an amended return
