Because when you are on path act message ot goes by your SSN not your amount. Thats why the amount is gone when your on path. IRS hides it until it gets checked before you get your dad date.
I'm hoping for that too! But there are so many tax filers that claim this credit that I'm looking into the first week of March as the IRS website says.
"The IRS expects the earliest Earned Income Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit-related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards the first week of March if they chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return. Taxpayers should check Where's My Refund? for their personalized refund date."

Yea irs always said first week of March and it always come before March, last year mine take 25 days total to get my refund in my account 2/27/19 so hopefully 2/19 are 2/21 i should get something in my account i was accepted 1/27 and 21 days would be 2/17 so i guess couples days after that i should see DDD
Plus when I went on my TT page, I sent that my estimated refund date was 2/17/2020, but that's on President's day. And I have a Prepaid card that u can't get it 2 days before that. So I wonder when I would get it.
I mean can get it 2 days early. My fault. I use to get them like a day or even the 16th of feb.
Really **bleep** do you claim EITC and ACTC,so on February 15 next Saturday that is are they going to deposit funds are they just going to release refund
@Shottamike23. lolol that's when they lift the path act from wmr and release funds. You'll either get a dad date of 22nd, 27th or so fourth.
I'm suspecting that they are lifting the wait. But they should be releasing them. Let alone that there is a holiday on Monday.. getting people's hopes for nothing. May have to wait a day or 2.
Yes I claim the EITC. But I'm still on 1 bar. So hopefully in the morning "WE" 1 bar_ners see the PATH MESSAGE mowing the following week they will come. I'm so glad . I DINT FILE EARLY
And I noticed that some Ddd's have an extra 5 days on it. It's always been like that.. but I also noticed this too... Either the day of the 15th or /and after words . 9 out of 10 people will have already received their money before their WMR even updates. It's happened to me.
@RottieMama @Where did you file and when did you get accepted and do you have the path message already I filed on 1/28 and got accepted the same day and I am still on one bar with tact topic 152 last year I didn’t even get the path message but I received my ddd on 2/28 so I am thinking that I will update this Saturday to Path or that message that says we still processing your refund and a date will be provided when available and then next Saturday I will get my ddd for 2/26
Last year i didn’t get the path msg either i only get tax topic 152 bottom of the page
I have a serious question to ask, and I'm hoping somebody can give me a little more hope. I know yo call the IRS, but I want to get some outside information first.
Now, when I filed my taxes I went over everything to make sure it was correct and it was. Today, like 10 minutes ago something told me to go check my direct deposit information. I have my refund to go into 2 different accounts. My first bank number(s) are correct. I checked my second bank number(s) everything was correct EXCEPT that I had missed 2 numbers in my account number. They were wrong.
Since the first set of bank number(s) is correct and the the account number in the second bank numbers were not correct, will I still have to receive a check, or will they send it to my first a bank account?
So did you ever switch to path or you stayed on that message cause I’m on that message too .but usually I switch to path but when I’m accepted early not this year I was accepted on 27th .
@Netta alot of us, including me, still have the 1 bar. Next mass update is tomorrow early around 3am. Check back after 6:30. That's when wmr reflects updates.
Normally I got to path message quickly but like alot of us, it's been longer this year.
