No. They accept all mailed returns for processing unless they send it back to you. Like if you didn't sign it.
That's helpful. 2019 was submitted last month (after e-file shut down) via paper. Likewise 2020 will be filed the same next week. Appreciate the help.
If you just filed 2019 then it wasn't on time to get the AGI into the system. Had to file it by like August 2020. So the IRS didn't have the 2019 AGI to verify 2020 efile.
Also you will have to wait a very very long time for them to be processed. Returns are taking over 6 months this year, especially mailed returns.
Yes, I should have filed much sooner. They owe me a boatload. Really what I need at this point is just proof of delivery to an IRS office. The $ I can wait for. Thanks again.
Did you get a tracking number from the post office when you mailed it? That's the only way to know until you get the refund.
