Is it possible to speak to a representative?
@mail4jah How have you been notified by the IRS that the returns were rejected? And when were you notified? Something is "off" about what you are telling us here.
When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

If the IRS accepted it, what does it say here?
Phone support is not provided with the Free Edition. If you are using a paid version of the software or if you purchased PLUS you can get phone support when customer support is there. Otherwise, post your question here and someone will try to help.

I got rejection on claim filed from its, I when ban and corrected w-2 form still rejected. the screen said july 32 last I have I have already paid 62.oo for service
This appears to apply to someone else. For example, being retired I did not have a W-2 to report, etc. Please confirm I can delete this message.
FYI, although my return has been accepted, I am still waiting to receive my refund. Can you advise me as to the long wait time?
@mail4jah You are not alone. Millions are still waiting. Turbo Tax only gives you an estimated date. The IRS usually pays most refunds within 21 days. But these are not normal times. This year is taking the IRS longer to send the refunds. There are millions more people filing returns to get the Stimulus payment.

The Colorado taxable Income line 9 is -7650.00 which should b 0.00, how do I change that on Turbo tax
I got my tax return
can you help me resolve my issues
@Nerradtax This is not live chat. We cannot see your screen, your tax return or your account. If you need help then tell us what the issues are. Do not include any personal information, but please be specific about the problem(s).
Today, I have received a letter from IRS that I over-paid my 2020 tax and a refund of $657.90 will be issued in 4 to 6 weeks. So, I am confused about your communication that my return was rejected.
Also, can you provide any recommendation as to why I have not received my 2019 or 2020 stimulus payments. When I go to IRS.com. I am advised they are still processing. I have received the $1400.00 2021 payment. Can you provide a telephone number, or other means of resolving this issue?
The reject email might have been for someone else. Or you tried to efile again. I wouldn't worry about that. The IRS seems to have it.
you can double check your efile status here

When did you file? Did you have any unemployment?
If you didn't get the first 2 Stimulus payments, EIP1 and EIP2 you have to claim it on your 2020 tax return. It should be on line 30 for the Recovery rebate credit. Do you have an amount on line30?
Entering '0' for our AGI didn't work for me. Even got 2019 return out and used the AGI shown on the return and it was also not accepted.
I think Turbo Tax has a error problem with the IRS program and it will continue to reject returns until TurboTax and the IRS get the problem corrected.
Guess people with this problem could always go to Tax Act or another like program. If so, wonder if Turbo Tax would refund the money they charged for this program?

I don't think TT has an answer for this problem. I talked to a live rep of TT a couple of days ago and she didn't have an work around for this problem.
@Gililland2 E-file rejections come from the IRS---not from TurboTax. There are some rejections that cannot be fixed. When that happens you have to print the return, sign it in ink, and mail it.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
