i received that letter but i filed my taxes thru jackson hewitt and it has been nothing but a headache I verified my identity in february was told 9 weeks which would be the end of april then i just received another letter from the irs thats it still under review and could take until may 23rd now or they will send another letter

i tried ordering a transcript of my taxes but cant because they either think or someone has a mortgage student or car loan in my name because i had to call and verify and when they asked for a valid credit card last 4 numbers i kept thinking they meant my bank card cause i havent had credit cards in a while first it was the end of april which would be 9weeks now i got a letter that says still under review give it until may 23rd or i might get another letter if i dont get my refund by then its bs i dont see why its taking so long but if you owed them money they would want it right away

yes I got a the same letter. Accepted 1/29. Letter 2/16 . Called 2/22 I'd verify now I'm just waiting dome WITH ttt since 2014

Hi I verified my 5071C letter on 2/14/19. Today On 3/18/19 due to the fact a HUMAN BEING NOW COMBS THROUGH OUR W2 now and is why it takes 9 additional weeks states I have a NEW ADJUSTED REFUND of 396$ about 1000$ shy of what I originally thought. Disagreed with my tax deductions. Oh well oh and I have to wait an additional 4 to 6 weeks.

Raven8300 and cherriesplz24. Its consumed me as well. LIKE EVERY DAY I CHECK IT. Well THE BAD NEWS CAME.....I received another letter. I was under review after receiving the 5071C letter now they're keeping 850$ and I'm only going to receive 396$$ but the IRS is reviewing other tax years. JUST KEEP IT.....IM WORN OUT 2 months of waiting. NO UPDATES...just processing on wheres my refund...no more. that's a wrap for me...putting it at foot of the cross.

I got a 5071c letter and have called numerous numbers and no answers and tried doing it on line a got booted out bc it says I entered the wrong information.. what can I do to get my money I got accepted March 29 and still can't do anything else
