Hello. I just sent my return and after reviewing it and my past few returns it seems like something might be off. Of course I didn’t notice this until after I submitted. My income was a bit less this year than in past years and I paid 3 times in tax more that the previous 2 years. Is there a way to have an expert review and stop or change the return? Thanks

Once you file, you cannot get the return back. If the IRS accepts your e-file, you have to wait until it has been fully processed to correct any mistakes. And right now, you do not know if any mistakes were made. Quite a few tax laws changed for 2022---so the results of your 2022 tax return might be due to some of the changes.
Try printing out your 2021 and 2022 returns and lay them side by side. Compare them line by line to see what is different.
If you find that you entered something incorrectly or left out some information, post back and we can help with how to amend later.
sorry. once you submitted the return there is nothing anyone can do unless it's rejected. you can contact support about reviewing your return for possible errors but if it's accepted and errors are found, you have to file an amended return once the original Is fully processed.

Thank you so much h for the reply. That’s a great Idea to do a side by side. I will reach back out if I need more help. Thanks again!
